SandBlasting help needed
This is and is not related to thirdgens. Lemme explain.
I have sandblasted before, but I am not ultra experienced with it yet.
I just bought a TPI manifold I am having a friend polish, its aluminum. I also want to do my old TBI manifold, so it will look nicer if i decide to sell it. I want to sand blast it, and certain parts to get it to shine better. Might as well do it once right? What media do you suggest? I want absolutly no pits.
Also, for polishing the intake, he wants me to sandblast some motorcycle parts which is aluminum, he wants no pits in it either. Should I use the same media? Regular sand? Glass Media?

The only way to go for aluminum is glass bead if u dont want ne pits. I sand blasted my irocs with silocne sand left some pits but im gonna sand them out neway in the polishing process just takes a lil longer

i use glass bead and a carful touch on my alum motorcycle parts... i think sand would pit them, but ive never had to try... glass always worked just fine.
