17x9.5 billets looking for wider tires in rear, which size?
Was not exactly sure where to ask this question; but here it goes.
I have the 17x9.5(with 5.5 of back spacing) rims on all corners. Right now the tire size is 275/40-17. Can I use 285/35-17 in the rear and not have any issues? Not looking to do any mods to the body also not looking for rubbing problems, but I do want more traction.
LMK. thanks

traction how.....through corners? i don't see going from a 275 to a 285 giving you a huge difference for the price you would pay on running a thinner sidewall.
absolutely alot less straight line traction going thinner. how are you having traction problems?
