I've reading a dozen of threads about wheel adapters and such(I use "search" feature a lot). My question is why does everyone keeps recomending this www.skulte.com and the other vettebrakes-or-what-not, as opposed to many other wheel adapter manufacturers?
I got my wheel adapters from www.adaptitusa.com for $220 shipped as opposed to $320 or so, from skutle. They are made from the same billet aluminum(6061-T6) and w/heavy duty studs. I don't see why skulte is favored over other CNC shops?
Can someone explain, please???

 

Probably since Skulte and VetteBrakes are better known.
I've never heard of the place you got yours from.

WhenI was ordering mine, I was going to get the Skulte ones but he was on vacation at the time so I went with VetteBrakes.

From what I hear, the Skutle ones are better than the Vettebrakes ones since Skulte uses Acorn style lug nuts instead of the deep shank straight lugs that Vettebrakes use. I think it centers the adaptor better.

I paid $353 shipped for my set of four 2.25" spacers with all the hardware.
