Opinion on some rims

Allright now Before anyone says they dont like em go take a second look. At first i was like meh not sure if they would look good but the more i look at them the more i think i like them....also based on the design of the center of the rims i dont think justice is dont to them without huge discs behind them because the center piece is really ment to accent the discs.
here we go And heres a photoshop of them on my car (my car is silver now but you get the idea) Remember i dont think they look right without some big discs behind em but id love to hear some opinions. These things just are growing on me too much.

sizes include 17X9.5, 17X11, 18X8, 18X9.5
I'm partial to a set of 18's but i was hoping for something in the back in the 10.5 range....not sure what id do for sizes. Im going to get some good side pics of my car tommorow so i can get a good photoshop done of the rims with some nice discs on it.

my dilemma (and keep in mind that i do like the look of 18's so please dont let the "18's look like crap" enter the discussion) Is basically i think i want 18X10.5's in the back and 18X9.5's in the front.....well they make 17X9.5, 17X11, 18X8, 18X9.5 So im thinking that 11's out back wont wit anyways so might as well go with 18X9.5's all around? Also this car is being setup to be more auto-x oriented not drag race so i have to do some research as to handling wise what sort of combo would work the best. Keep the opinions coming hopefully i can get the photoshop with the discs up here by the end of the night.

They are Boyds also, but do not know the model name. I know the owner of the car and can find out for you if you are interested.

They make the wheels to order, so any offset you need can be made.

yeah the one i put a pic of are boyds as well so i know about the offsets. If the one you put up is boyd i can figure it out....i like the one i put up (the heckle, bitchin series, top right) Because i think it looks nice and because no one seems to have em. Keep the opinions coming and remember the pic i put up is just a quick photoshop someone did.

i personally don't like them as they are a very skinny design as well as those look to common to the roh snyper which is seen alot on the thirdgen. i would like to see the new roh modena though.

as far as the boyds they will make any wheel to your offset with the 2 piece which is one of the advantages of the wheel. after going through many hassles with wheel fitment if you do a search i'm sure you can find out my own theories on the subject. unless your going to be roadracing alot i think you'll be a little disappointed if you go with 9.5's all around but to each his own.

i'd stick with 8's up front and 9's in the rear or 10's if you really need some more traction. if you can afford it a billet 2 or even 3 piece wheel is really nice.

good luck.

yeah im so undecided on these rims i dont think id feel comfortable spending that kind of dough where i was uncertain. As far as what i have to spend well im replacing my rims out of necessity because i got in a small crash so i figured nows a good time to upgrade...basically ill have as much as i manage to save up during the winter....

As far as your comments whats the difference between 1-2-3 piece wheels and why is one better then the other? The only companies ive been found that seem descent are american racing, boyds, and boze (i love the ones on your car candied even considered them but decided i want something slightly different). What are some other good companies to look at?

hey, what color silver is your car? sebring? I like that color, I'm thinking about painting my sebring silver.

As for the wheels, your right, they would look better with some disk breaks showing through. I like the 5 spoke design (hard to go wrong with nice 5 spokes!).

honestly i have no idea what colour it is...i just bought the car at the beginning of the summer and just always knew it as silver....ill eventually call the previous owner and ask because i have to get the new nose painted because of my little accident....i just feel so bad about crashing his baby dont want him to know till i have her all fixed up (he really loved his car, was so sad to see me take it off his hands but he had to sell it for financial reasons.

As for the rims ack dont say you like the heckle's that just makes me more undecided I think i love the pattern and if the spokes were just a tiny bit thicker id get em for sure.....still have no idea....sugestions are welcome at other companies to look into...read like 2 posts above if you dont know what im talking about
