has anyone here ever painted there wheel centercaps and if so what color and what type of paint? (im not talking about like hot pink or green, but black or silver, you know) (if possible pics)

I painted mine they where so faded that they looked white. But all I did was just roughed them up a little with some sandpaper maybe 600 grit I can't remember anymore. Then I sprayed them with some self eching primer and semi gloss black paint (dupont I think was the brand) that I picked up at the local napa. They still look great and I did it over a year ago. I have pics but I'm at myfriends house so I'll try to get them up later.
