Of you guys that have your hatch tinted, what did you do with the two strips that cannot be tinted? The two strips on each side of the glass. Did you just color it in with something? If so, what?

 

My entire hatch is tinted......

 

The guy who tinted my windows said that you can't tint these two small strips...I'll try to get a picture of it. I just have to get a battery for my digital camera.

 

I just have like two pieces of black tape or something kinda hard to tell there there now.

 

On my hatch, that area is covered with what looks like electrical tape but its not quite the same thing.

 

I asked this once, everyone said either it was tinted also, there's some kind of tape/vynl there, or it was painted.... that's all I ever heard. I keep meaning to get some model paint or vynl tape from pep boys and fix that... it bothers the HELL out of me...
