I have an 88 IROC with ground effects and a louvered style grill from an 84 without ground effects. I've seen these installed on gf'ed cars but it seems that the grill is slightly smaller than the opening in my 88 and the mounting points do not match up in my 88 with this grill. How can I install this, am I missing something, was there different louvered grill inserts with different mounting points.. or? Thanks.

 

There are different grille sizes - the '84 won't work in any '85+ GFX equipped car. You'll need to seek a louvered grille piece from a later model

 

Your grille is from an 84 camaro. The 84 camaro had a different nose than the 88.... The grille will not fit, you have to get one for 85-92 camaros, then it will work.
