my third brake light mod

As I mentioned awhile ago to those who read the High Rise w/Light post. I have done a custom third brake light. I converted from the 3 pc spoiler to the high rise and my original third brake light was in the 3 pc. So I needed to do something. So here are some semi-okay pics of the mod.

In my opinion, it looks kinda out of place just sitting on the decklid. I would have just gotten rid of it entirely or mounted some LEDs in the wing.

yup.... matter of fact, im about to attempt take 2 on my LED in spoiler 3rd brake light...... the other one is fine, its LED, it works great................ and it looks dead stock... with the exception of the snapon/snapoff times, you cant tell its not stock bulbs....

sigh... not the inline effect i wanted..

When I put the 91-92 T/A wing on my 87, I also installed the 91-92 Camaro/Firebird third brake light on the inside top of my back window. The only thing that gives it away as not stock, are I have a couple defog lines, and the glare reducer lines don't run around the light. The best thing is, you can't see the lines when you light it up either. I toyed with all kinds of ideas, before I decided to go with stock parts. Everytime I show someone the light, I have to point out the line issue, it looks that close to dead-on stock.

Okay after reading over my post a second, I see that I forgot to mention one thing. That this mod was only temporary until I got the time to do something with LEDs.
