Eastwood polishing kit?
I'm looking to get the wheel/aluminum polishing kit that I keep hearing about from eastwood.
I checked the site, and there's LOTS of different stuff.
What do you guys know about this? Any tips? ...part #'s?

don't bother with the kit has more than you need, check out the tech article on polishing it has everything you need to sand buff and polish up your alum. i did mine with eastwood product it it came out sweet. i did my alt, plenum and runners so far and the wheels are next after i get the paint on the car.
i bought from them arbors for my dremel tool, spiral disks for sanding, cone disk for sanding, a expander wheel for my bench grinder for sanding and sanding stuff for the expander. the expander is good for large parts but not wheels. you will need a dremel or die grinder and the spiral sanding stuff works great for all the small spots.
as for polishing i used the white rough for the final buff and tripoli for the first buff. you don;t need to sand any more than 400 grit any more is a waste of time as the tripoli will do the fine sanding for you.
there are assorted buffs to use depending on what tools you have. read the tech article and check some of my other posts and you will have more info than you could every want.
don't forget to post before and after pics for us.

I've already done the "sand to 1500 grit and use Mother's" technique. I looked great, but not like what some of you guys were turnin' out. I want the best, so it's back to work!
