Trying to get decals off the car i bought

Trying to get decals off the car i bought

I bought an 88 GTA and the kid who had the car b4 me went nuts with one of those smokey and the bandit decal kits.Im trying to get the big bird off my hood and trying to get off all the pinstriping.Does anyone have an effective method to get this off withought damaging the paint????

Try heating it with a hair dryer. Eventually you should be able to get it off, you may need to use some adhesive remover if any adhesive remains on the paint.

the hair dryer thing usually works, thats what i do for my motorcycles and atvs
