Need some help from anyone south of the border here. Since Canda does not have any of the new GTO's around.. Would it be possible for someone to take a look at one with the black paint.. It's called Phantom Metalic.. I saw a paint chip in a new PPG book at school.. the little chip looks cool.. but I'm not sure how it would look on my camaro. So if you have seen a car painted with that color could ya let me know your opinon on it. Thanks.

It's either that color or just the standard Black my car is.. Plus I will be adding Heritage strips on my car with a color called Inka Gold Perl.. it's a Chrysler color.. but who cares.. it's a cool color.

 

I have seen some high resolution pics of the gto's with the black paint on them, and it looks absolutely awesome, i think it would look great on a third gen, but that's just my opinion, i know how ya feel, i live in a small town of about 45,000 in tn, and the gto's have already been released in the metro areas around me, but i still haven't got to see one in person yet, are you all in canada even going to be getting them? see ya, man!!!

Is it kinda like the 87 monte carlo ss paint?? Black with maroon mettalic??

 

I do not think it has any "color" to it.. I had a look on the GM website, and there is a color with a purple look.. and the Phantom Black is a black.. with a metalic.. it's probably a grey metalic.. Hopefully someone might have a chance to take a look at a GTO in person.

 

Hrmmm sounds like a color I might want to paint my iroc with this summer.
