Nope, I don't think its mirrored. The ebrake handle is still on the same side of the shifter and the letters on the hood are still the same.
He's from Austrailia, so that must be why its RHD.
And it also says it was converted on one of his other pages.

I like the hood.... that's all I'll say about it! Speeddemon383, it's styled after the 2nd gen trans am hood and it was called the "Bandit II" hood. I've seen several posts about them in the past so you should find some info if you do a search. I'd think about cutting out a hole in a base model hood without the vents so a bigger hoodbird could be used!

whos your daddy? come on?
now heres the link to the auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=34198 if you really want to do this and i know that 383 youre trying to build is carbed so you could make this functional, cut a hole in the hood, plasma cutter or something, and weld up some posts to attach this thing. Then take a square air filter like for a tpi and some ducting that runs from the bottom of the shaker through a filter that covers the carb. Kinda like an air box for the tpi....Just a thought i say do it. Youre just a big sissy come on *eggs you on to do it*

Thats just my 2 cents. I think it is ridiculous!

I love that hood . . . Kinda makes me wish I bought a Trans Am instead of my camaro!
I don't think that the picture is mirrored because if you look closely on his his second page, the pic all the way at the bottom shows the steering wheel on the right hand side also. He is from Australia too.

It says in his info on the car that it was converted to the right hand side. "Converted to Right Hand Drive when Brought out to Australia"

That spoiler is kinda small.

I like the wheels and hood. RHD is kinda cool too.

Another idea to make that functional on a carbed engine.... MY 84 TA cames with a carbed 305 and had the functional "bulge" hood. The air filter housing has a hole already cut in the top and ducting that goes to the cowl opening. You may be able to just run a new duct from that opening if you don't want to cut one yourself. I won't be using mine because i'm swapping in a 350 TPI

I like it. I might have chosen a different wing, but one of that size/style helpls make the T/A gfx and that hood look more custom. I'd like it alot more if I knew he was doing something fast enough to need it.
It would look 200% better if he would drop it a couple inches, though.
RHD is kewl, too. Wonder how much it would cost to do that... hmm...
