Most Berlinettas are pretty fugly anyways.
Whats wrong with Fatties and Skinnies ? So you are against lightening up your front end and more importantly getting traction?? Thats cool, But I personaly think it looks Bad*ss.

Jeebus, you bought a ragged pos. Good to see it's getting saved though.

On your car domain site, right click on a pic and go to properties. Highlight and copy the url that is list next to "address" then close that box. Then in your reply here, hit the img button and paste the url you copied. Result:

I'm in WA too and my car has mudflaps, I dont think they look that bad. Besides, its worth any potential looks tradeoff with all the rain.

That's exactly what I run, and they still dust a little, not much at all, but they do dust. Anyone who has a set of the GTA mesh wheels knows the hassle it its to keep them clean. I do keep mine clean, but any dust at all is a pain because of the texture of the finish on them. What I was saying was that people who don't wash their wheels (ever it seems) and let them turn black just make their car look like hell. I see a lot of upper end BMW's around here with brake dusted front wheels and can't help but to think that the owners think they are above actually taking care of their cars because they can afford to replace them when they fall apart.

I'll contribute my opinions.

mismatched tint, body panels, interior pieces, or basically anything on the car.
Wings that are way too big.
peeling paint
an engine bay that looks like a septic tank
carpet that is 200 different colors from stains (guilty)
rust.....period
painted, rusted, or just really dirty rims.
damage front GFX.

and the most important...for the LS1 swap guys, putting corvette engine covers on the engine, when it's NOT a corvette, looks REALLY tacky when the hood is opened.

Just my $.02

ok first of all.... Let me make an example..... I am the administrator on a Maple Leafs fan and a Diablo 2 Lord of destruction *game* forum and I'll post a link to a picture I have on that site, and I'll explain how I did it. for ya

First of all look up, when creating your post, and you will see an IMG button Press it. a box will appear and you type the link the the picture. In my case this is what my Img looks like and directly following is the Img tags and what I typed in to get the image. [IMG*tag]http://www.blizzard.com/images/diablo2/diabloblood3small.gif[/IMG*end tag]

To get the right address for your picture.. go to the web page that your picture is loaded up to and right click on it. then go to the bottom of the new window(menu bar) and click on properties.

Once in properties, you will see the picture Icon with the name of the picture. if you look down farther you will see the Address: URL line just copy all url and then paste it into the box that appears after you Click the IMG button above.

Hopefully this helps ya

Yikes, looks like a 295/60/15 rears and 245/60/15 fronts or so. Fronts look good, but the backs look really stretched!

my two cents

first I have to disagree with the CB antenna looking bad, I've got a CB in my car and its great (well it was) for long trips; of course I used to drive a semi so I may be biased.

1 the dirty and torn up interior: guilty but innocent by reason of lack of $$$
2 mismatched rims: see above
3 terrible sounding radio being played loudly: definately NOT guilty
4 I will sum everything else up by simply saying "cars that look like the owner dosen't care about, take care of, or maintain thier car"

I just got a job at valvoline and (haven't seen a thirdgen yet) its amazing how many cars come through that are a quart or more low on oil. hence the people not taking care of thier cars.

I know its unrelated but I have to share this: a guy came in with his escalade, he had us use sythetic oil but when his air filter was checked it needed changed, no biggie right? the cheap sob takes the filter out side and beats it like a rug and then proclaims it "good as new".

O yea??? I got one up on that even. This guy rolls up in this Dusty Dirty looking Expedition. was a 2000. He explains that its been sitting out in his barn *BARN* for a few months, he decided 3000 miles after the oil change is due, to get the oil changed and all fluids checked.

as a curtousy I check the air filters too. I opened up the filter compartment, and its like I opened the gates to the local zoo. After pulling the dusty full of hay filter I see a nice little rats nest sitting at the base of the filter box. I show this to the owner. and he looks in. and then at me. and looks back in and shrugges his shoulders and said *Welcome to the family* then takes the filter out of my hands and puts everything back together, and goes inside and pays for the oil change and heads off.

I had a great laugh with some of my co workers that day.

ok you got me on that one. although I just started this job so I expect to have some good ones as time goes on...how about a grand am that the owner thinks she can fix a coolant leak by putting in a sealing tablet? ohhh did I mention you could see the crack in the head plain as day?

Just curious, but when you guys are talking about 'Huge Spoilers'. are you in fact referring to '91 and '92 Z's as well?
I don't generally like the spoiler, but I think it goes well with the car. Its stock...

As do I and a lot of others I am sure. I was referring to the kind of spoiler that people would mistake for a picnic table on your car if you were to park it somewhere. the Z28 spoiler, I think, was the best spoiler offered on all thirdgens.

i have a HUGE wing, i have FART can exaust tips, i have STICKERS in my motor compartment., i have MISMATCHED tire sizes, i have undercarriage NEONS and interior NEONS, my interior is PAINTED, i have SKIRTS that dont help the car perform, i have ALTEZZA tailights and SIDEMARKERS, my trunk RATTLES when i play music, my TINT is so dark that you cant see in, my HOOD doesnt need to be there because i have a stock 305tpi,my car is LOWERED so much that i cant usually drive it on the road.

im sure there are more but as jeff(kandied) said..alot is personal preferance..

what i dont like about our cars. idiots who drive them without any worry for the safety of others or themselves, blaring some music that was cool in the 70s with no bass and all treble with a raccoon tail on the antenna and the azz end like 6 inches in the air while the front is slammed to the ground...now that is just retarded..

There are so many things I've seen that make our Camaro's look so tacky!

1: Cheap rims! (anything other than the original Camaro 16" rim) to me!

2. Mud flaps! Horrible

3. Cheap paint job and mostly bad tape job prior to painting! I.E. Macco or any $399 paint job!

4. Scuffed up front fender, made even worse by a ripped bra!

5. No Door MOLDING!!!

6. Dull/faded stripping

7. Lack of attention to small details like dings in the doors, chipping paint on key locks and antenna mount etc... can really ruin the clean appearance of the Camaros no matter how many good qualities it has!

8. Oversized tires! YUCK!

9. Third Brake Light doesn't work!!

yes personal preference.... but dude you car is whack looking, im sorry. those arent altezza lights, they are just gay look alikes that dont look anywhere close to altezzas. the body kit is horrible and looks like crap, it doesnt fit the overall body style of the car. a stock 305... nuff said. well if your gunna spend all that money put it in the motor b4 the looks. if your car is lowered so low you can drive it you might as well sell the car to someone with some better taste...... oh yeah..... WE DON'T HAVE TRUNKS!!!

Saigon Bob, you're raggin on him when you have dual 3in exhaust on an L03! These cars like a little backpressure. That big of exhaust is useless and probably actually hurting it a little. I've got a blown nitroused 496 built to the gills and I'm gonna run dual 3's to keep a little backpressure, very few 305s are mighty enough to warrant a dual 3 system. To stay on topic, things that I don't like are neon windshield washer nozzles, cheap tint thats now purple, etc.

Hmmm....

I have factory 1984 mudflaps with Z-28 on them. I have a
Chevy bowtie checkered tint strip on the windshield. I have
a 3 inch single slash cut chrome tip behind my totally functional 3
inch mandrel bent exhaust sysyem. I have 3 small stickers on the bottom of my rear window.

How do I rate ?

What I don't like :

Huge dual tips behind a usless crossflow muffler.

Huge oversized wheels W/ improper backspacing.

Rinky- dinky pea shooter exhaust pipes.

Glass packs.

Any owner who does not realize the true potential of His/Hers
3rd Gen Camaro/Firebird and trashes it.

I can't stand it when the car is more than one color (exception of two-tone cars, etc) unless its one of those cars you can tell is only days away from fresh paint. You guys all know what I mean.

The worst thing though, has got to be faded window tint that turned purple. THAT is the worst looking thing on any car!

Some people bash white lettered tires, but I think they look great if you got 15" wheels and you keep the rubber black and the letters white.
