q about compound, glaze, wax

my paint was starting to get dull and rough again so i went ahead and did the whole car with 3M rubbing compound. much better than before but could be a lil smoother. now i have a bottle of 3M hand glaze and 3M liquid wax. what i'd like to know is, in what order should i use the other 2 things. i'd like to get my paint as smooth as i possibly can with what i have.

TIA

You use the hand glaze first than the wax. It should say on the back of the hand glaze. The glaze gives shine not protection so you need the wax to protect the shine the glaze gave the paint.

You should of used a clay bar before the rubbing compound...that would of made your paint a little smoother. I've used 3Ms imperial hand glaze with real good results it goes on real easy by hand you don't even need a buffer....but like I mentioned the glaze before the wax...I haven't used 3M wax, but if its anything like their rubbing compunds and hand glaze I imagine its good. I used Maquire's Gold after I had used the glaze. Good luck with everything.

nope i just did it by hand. all i have left to do is put on the wax. that 3M glaze works really well. made the paint even smoother. i still have some overspray that i need to take care of though. didnt see it until a few minutes ago when i caught it at an angle. here's how it looks so far:
