I can honestly say that I like purple, but only if its the right shade. And that color purple looks perfect, it appears to have some metallic and/or pearl in it too?
Can't wait to see the finished product

My car is a similar colour, but not quite the same shade.
The trouble is, the quality of the paint job is not very good, and a couple of rust bubbles are appearing. I'll be getting the paint colour matched and doing a proper job soon.

Anything and everything will show up in the clear.
Single stage obviously not quite the same problem but, thats a different beast.
The #2 enemy w/white... lighting. I'm about half blind anyways from welding but, white is a very difficult color to see where you have painted and haven't. I've found that no overhead lights (in a smaller garage) and a few 4' shop lamps on the floor (under what you are painting) is a good way to see what you are doing (gives the best light reflection) but, that's just me and my crappy vision...

I like purple myself, especially that Diablo metalic lavender shade. I wish I could paint like that. It always looks fun when it comes out right or atleast halfway decent.
