im more specifically looking for conversions that dont use pockets anymore, and actually make the front flush.

Fatal88 used different lights and so did Flynlow...albeit not flush. The only one I can think of that is flush is the Star Trek camaro...they used Nissan 300ZX lights. No one else has really tried to tackle the job again though. I still suggest you do a search.

I will be getting a conversion done to my 91 Z28 soon. Since I'm still a novice at body work, I'll be paying a shop to do the conversion for me. I plan to use BMW 3 series projector headlights and true HID's. There is a concept drawing of it somewhere that DevianB did for me (good artist!). Try a search for BMW headlights if you get bored (other forum members have talked about it before too).
On another note, Revlimit did an Accord Projector conversion some time ago. It looked great! But he said he could not get it aligned properly since it was literally forced into place, and eventually it broke on the track after a drifting mishap.
sure looked good though!

I converted the low beams using some Pilot headlamps I found at Autozone. It really makes the car look more modern. I am going to do the high beams when I save up some more. Also, you will most likely need to order a wiring harness or redo you wiring if you do this conversion. Iroc2nv, when are those euros going to be done? I can't wait to see the pictures.

This guy,MY85Z28, put headlights from a '93 Grand Prix on his black Camaro, looked pretty cool. They were close to flush with the pocket sides.I'll see if I can find a pic for you.
