So whats the deal with wheel spacers?

So exactally why do our cars need wheel spacers for 4th gen rims? I know the backspacing is different but is there any other way to mount them? 400$ seems a bit pricy for spacers

Yup, i am selling mine for $250. The deal is our hubs don't sit out far enough to run the wheels therefore a big heavy massive piece of metal is used to fill the space. It is expensive because htey need to be very strong. The metal isn't cheap.

well considering spacers are just that i'd say there isn't really a deal....you need ADAPTERS. which bolt to the existing hub and then the wheel bolts to it. spacers are just that and the size spacer you would need to run a 4thgen offset wouldn't be safe.
