Need the length and width dimensions of the gransport stripes that were on the vettes. I searched here and through google and have found pics but no actual measurments. I figure i'm gonna take some flak for even asking about this but i saw them on a 4th gen tonight and really like the look. I'm getting some silver vinyl scraps from the decal place that i can cut down to work. I figure the car is getting painted this summer so i might as well play with some looks a little. If i dont liek em i can jsut peel em off.

I was also considering black but not sure if it will stand out as much as the silver would on a teal car.

 

i did one silver and one black on my stock dark red metallic back when i was in high school. don't know if i have any pictures though.

 

I think it could look good, but I think your car looks real nice being stock. Put some hood blisters and that would look killer!

 

I cant belive it, I never have seen a third gen with the Grand Sport paint job? Of all the cool paint jobs I wonder why I havent seen at least one on here??? Good choice I think that is one BOLD stripe!

 

theres someone on another broad with them on his 4th gen, ill go PM him to get u the width. Not sure about length though, id guess however long the car is?

 

Right now i'm just looking for the ones that went from the hood to the wheel well on the fender. Still playing around with a photoshop to see about the big stripe but right now i just need the fender ones. Kandied i wanna say i remember seeign a pic of one with the silver and black. may have been urs.

Waiting for some touchup to dry and then i'm gonna go do em. Decided on black for now casue i had the vinyl probaly gonna do them 4.5 inches wide. That seems to be about the size of em i've seen in the pics.
