quick help on 4th gen wheels

I just got a smoking deal on a set of 4th gen 18" wheels on ebay for $470 total. However, I need to know if I should get 2" adaptors or 1.5", or both for front and back???

can anyone tell me the best route to go with 4th gen wheels?

Thanks,

Also a cheap site to order the spacers besides ebay?

I can't help you with the spacers, but are you sure those wheels are 18's? 4th gen WS6 and SS wheels were only 17's.

there wheels made for 4th gens, not an actual 4th gen style wheel (like SS or WS6), sorry my bad, mis-worded that.

Anyone know what size adaptors I need? 2" or 1.5"??? both???

never mind, I got the info... 2" all around

"For all fourth-gen rims - 2" adapters front and rear should be used on a third-gen. For C5 and 17x11 ZR1 rims, please do the math!"

now anyone find any good deals on these adaptors??

except them prices are out of this world...

You can get them on ebay for a pair for $75, or $150 for all 4, why pay $360 for them?

I am trying to find a web site that sells them cheaper than that, or someone willing to sell theirs for cheaper????

But you know they sell them, so you can call them and ask them the size of the spacers. Then you can buy cheaper spacers in the same size. Don't be afraid to call and ask.

Plus the ones on ebay aren't always that great! Just make sure you read the feedback and see if the person has sold sets before. Just b/c things are cheaper doesn't ALWAYS mean they are better, or equal for that matter. Also, before you order get the offset of the wheels you bought and compare them to OEM 4th gen wheels, make sure they are exact, b/c without double checking, who knows what it will come out like. Either there could be clearance issues or they will stick out 2"! I would double check. Sounds like a good price for quality 18" wheels. good luck

wheels are 18x8" nice, chrome, I love them...

I have seen people run these before, just never in the 18" only 17" and 16". For the price you cannot beat them.

Offset: +38mm

So I should still run the 2" spacers, right?
