Those of you with T/A tailights in your Firebirds
I have searched the boards and have come up with drilling a small hole into the outer lens to insert small running light. The question I have is how do I get those lights to stay in the holes I drilled??? Tape is too getto (even though you would not see it...I would know it is there) and sealant is out because of changing the bulbs. What do you guys think???? I really like the idea of having a full grid of running lights, but if I do not feel comfortable with the install of the little lights, then I am going to go with the standard......... Turn:Brake:Brake:Reverse::::Reverse:Brake:Brake:Turn
Brake being the running lights also.
Give me some input!!!!

i did that swap.... but i didnt mess with cutting the backs of my taillights; i just kinda tucked those extra bulbs back there, out of the way...
they also didnt seem like they would reach, but it was a real long time ago when i last had the taillights off

I went to Autozone and bought new sockets and spliced them in the place of those. I got ones that were about an inch or an inch and a half long, then drilled the hole as close as I could to the right size to make em tight, then I stuck it in there. Didnt move and you couldnt tell when the light was on. Since then though, I just got all new sockets and set it up like the regular TA harness.
