Hi,

Just picked up an 84 Matrix 3 T/A 305 HO, 700R4.

It's going to need a total restore and I'm looking for info on Matrix 3 Firebirds and T/As primarily production numbers, and what people are doing for new tops before I decide if it's worth it to restore or part out.

With a Matrix top you'll have to have an Upholstery show make a new one from the old one, hope you're ready to sink some $$$ into that?

Not that difficult , old top for a pattern , almost any good upholstery shop can make a top. Welcome, try searching matrix and convertible on here.

I checked with a few upholstery shops. The top will cost too much for a restoration. I've decided to part this one out and use a few parts for my other Bird. I'll list the vert parts on this site, if anyone is looking for something specific please let me know.
