Might look OK from a distance... but the fact that the prexisting black lines are inside a groove... the wider black might look a bit out of place overlapping the original grooves. Just a thought.

I had considered something like that too until I noticed that its almost the exact same style as the early 90's grand prix's.

I personally with all these taillight ideas...Graboid's car gets my vote thats what id do because i hate amber as well
i would consider the body color grids though

Wondering how the 4th gen honeycomb style taillights might look. Now that would be fun. Never taken one apart though to see what is involved underneathe.
