has anyone done this?

i was watcing MIB 2 today and they had that benz and when the lights were off the headlights looked black

im not sure how it would look some thoughts of good and some thoughts bad so i dunno what do you guys think ?

do you think a loss of light would happen?

 

MAJOR loss of light... don't do it it would be horrible and you'll end up running over a little kid because you never saw him 10 ft in front of you. If you wanna do anything just get the headlight pocket covers.

 

They cover lights up in films because regular clear headlights don't work too well shooting scenes (my guess anyway)

 

it was that new benz where the doors open themselves when lights were on it was bright but off it was black just on the headlight circle part

 

Does Hella make a fog light that works like that, looks like its black when its off. I don't know how they do it, but they arn't cheap

 

just tint them , thats what i did with the front turn signals, i did one strip of 5% tint and they look black when off but you can still see them when i use the signals, if you use two pieces they will be black all the time.
