I thought it needed a little more space around the tip...

d00d look above at the pics i posted. Your gonan havea very hard time doing that unless you wanna knotch the bumper, or gonna have to a make a lot of bends to make it come out there.

Notching the bumper would be the only requirement. Depending on how much of a notch you want, you may have to cut into the impact bar as well.

well for one you have a firebird and i have a camaro and the camaro bumper hangs down more than the firebird one does so it would give more access, and for two YES you would have to use some extreme bends like i had previously stated but thats ok because it can be done.....d00d....

well its the well, so what. IT still it not supposed to be notched. THe well acts as a buffer when thatpart of the car is hit. Once stregth is sacrfied its not good anymore.

Well, the well is totally different from the gas tank, last time I checked. I would not want to fill my well up with gas anyways, or attempt to put my groceries in the gas tank, I dunno about you.

You ARE kidding about the buffer/"stregth is sacrfied" thing, right?

nah the well actually serves as a purpose. Its a buffer so when you are rear ended you dont suddenly blow up the gas tank. Its there to allow maybe a foot of imact before the gas tank is hurt. Helps most of the time.

Maybe I'm the only one that down right HATES that look. I like it on a T/A but NOT on a Camaro. Maybe if you used the same rectangle tips but damn, the quad round ones look FUGLY to me.

ya those tips arent happening on an iroc. Im thinking when i do it to my car it will be 2 single tips, no idea on shape but round wouldnt look right, but i think a slight notch is key because otherwise the tips just sit too low and dont look right

I must leave for work soon, so I didn't put much effort in lining the tips up and getting them to blend as well as I could have. This is about the look you'd get with a camaro...
