IMHO, The only thing that is chrome that belongs on our cars is wheels.

What about exhaust tips and the shifter?

Sorry, couldn't resist. I have those parts all chromy.

Anyway, I pretty much agree with Shifty... chrome just doesn't work on our cars like it would on a 1stgen or early 2ndgen.

I have a real hatred for chrome. I'm anti chrome anything. So I say no to chrome. Polished metal is best way to go IMO.

Ok, we'll call it even

But, back to the guy's question... I'd avoid body-related parts that are chrome. Shifters, exhaust, wheels, valve covers.... they all look fine being chrome on our cars, but chrome body parts just never really 'fit in' with the rest of the car. Just doesn't work.

chrome dont get it home.. i am very anti-chrome! i dont like any chrome on my car, chrome sucks imo because
1) it dosent look good anywhere outside a 3rd gen
2) if its on an engine component it is actually hurting it because
a)chrome is a thick plating process that just holds in heat which is evil to an engine... thats just my opinion i could be (and more than likely am) wrong...
