I have some creger rims on my car and they had a little bit of surface rust and i got that off just fine but its that other kind that i cant get rid of i used sos pads and polish and this other stuff to but they didnt work and i was wondering how i might get it out by my self without some body work at a shop?

 

Has the rust eaten through the metal yet? If not, I would get my hands on an angle grinder and a cup-shaped wire wheel. That will make quick work of any rust.

That will take it down to bare metal though, so you'll need to put something over that to protect it. Don't use primer though, because it absorbs moisture.

I'm a little confused though... are you talking about your car's body, or the wheels? I couldn't really tell.
