found another old picture with my car and the candy orange prototype....just thought i'd share. i was suprised when gm approached me and asked if i wanted to take side by side pictures. unfortunately this is the only picture i have as we were putting the cars away....

the prototype is nice, the color is the best part. wish they would have continued with it for a factory color as candy orange would have been sweet!
i don't however like the wheels as they are rather common even though they are of a larger sense. the interior is pretty cool seeing as how it was new for the times. i'm not sure about the trim on the edges of the hood but the rear hatch glass separation like the vette is a neat idea however i still like the camaro front and rear setup rather then the mixture.
the stock clear headlight covers were just that so i didn't care to much about that part but it supposedly works great on the oval track.
as far as the year....i would like to say 02'

The ridges on the hood were put there for testing for like areodynamics I think I talked to one of the gm rep about it at the woodward dream cruize in michagan, I do however love the rear gta look with the irocz behind the lenses and the rear spoiler is sweet
yeah the rear spoiler is like that because of how the glass hatch separates.
