With enough time and effort you can polish any metal. My guess is that the M5 copies you have are aluminum which is the same metal as the Irocs/Z28's/Formulas/GTA rims that we all polish.

So to answer your question in a word .... YES

hi stevver84Z

There are many BMW in Taiwan and there are many choice for the rim, it is not hard to fine used even in 18's, they are kind of fit, the PCD is little different (120mm VS 120.65mm), the offset of 5/7 series is very close to third gen, after some custom work, they fit, check my car, those BMW rim do looks great, especially those import one like BBS...etc.

thank you, there are still alot of work to do.....

Both my BMW rim are 18's, 8.5J, 15MM offset, the 5/7 serice rim need less modification due to the offset, the 5/7 one is about 15mm, 3 serice rim is about 35mm or more, you will need adapter.....or the wheel will go inside...

I fine a formula to calculate the spacer I need for different wheel, with this rim, I need 3mm spacer in the front, actully, the most important thing is custom a center rim, I don't how the express it in English, there are the pics, put the center rim between the wheel and bolt, that will make the wheel stay close to the bolt, or there will be alot of palys in driving....feel free to ask me for theBMW rim if I didn't explain it well..

this is the bolt in the front, the rear one looks different but the size of the center rim is the same.

this is the other side of the wheel, the center rim can be put on the wheel or the bolt first, in the end, they will stay together......

That bushing keeps the inner wheel closer to the hub?? or is that used as the spacer?

yes, the bushing keeps the wheel close to the hub when spinning, it is different to the spacer.
