New ZR1 Rims!!!
I just got done putting on my new ZR1 rims and I love the looks of them. I have a slight problem though and was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. On the drivers side, if I turn the wheel all the way to the right while I am backing up, the tires catch on the plastic inner fender. It is kind of dark out right now so I can't get a really good look at what I can do to stop this. It doesn't seem to do it on the passenger side when I turn all the way to the left and it doesn't do it when going forward, just backwards. I think it did this just a bit on my old tires. I just might not be able to crank the wheel while backing up, not a real big deal.
Here is a pic of what it looks like when I turn the wheel

I will take more pics of the car and how it looks in the morning when there is more light.

not a problem with me...
how is your conversion coming along?
when i get mine painted, we'll have to go to the Knight Nationals. I think you, me, and Kitt-X all need to park together.

When I get my car painted in a couple weeks I might try adjusting the fender forward just a bit since it doesn't catch that much just enough to enoy me.
Here are the new pics of the car with the new wheels on.

I like the looks of the wider tires in this pic!

Here are a few other pics i figured I would take of the car.

My car will be getting painted in a couple weeks so it will look 1000 time better than what it does.

hmm... suprisingly good hood fitment...
hey, i've always wondered about what you KITT guys did about the bumper/headlight trim coming in contact when you turn them on....
well, i'm not too big a fan of the KITT conversions, but those zr1's will look great on ur black formula... best of luck with it!

On some of the bumbers it is notched out so the headlight trim doesn't hit it when opening but most people just shave down the trim piece on the headlight trim so it doesn't hit the bumper. As for the hood, it fits better and better the more I play with it so it is getting better.

No, they are 9.5 all the way around. I used 2" spacer all the way around from skulte.com. When I get around to lowering it, it will onlybe around ad inch to and inch and a half. I do know that it needs lowering but that will have to wait.

Gambit69,
If it's rubbing on the plastic inner fender liner, the best way to fix that would be to take a hot air gun ($25 from Home Depot), and heat up the fender liner until it's soft. Prop this outof the way with a 2x4, and when it cools down, it'll take the shape of the wedged in 2x4, giving you clearance for the tires.

Mine did the same with the ZR1's

I've got 2" Skulte adaptors and Eibach Sportlines.
Mine also rubs with the stock 16" Formula wheels.
