i dipped my tanks in pure chlorine and they came out whitter then brand new. So white, the ummm chlorine ate throught the plastic and ummm i dont have tnaks anymore. I thought someone stole them but they were in my back yard and my mom said pure chlorine would eat the plastic. I'm such a dumm ***. Anyways, dont try that.

yeah, i thought it was pretty funny. But...again, i could have prevented it. Now i have radiator fluid hose clipped with vice grips so it dont spill everywhere.

How do you get your pulley's and alt and stuff so clean? That tensioner in the pic above looks brand new.. I've tried degreaser..it gets some of it, but not all. Short of replacing it piece by piece, i'm open to ideas

Heres my dirty dirty engine bay. I used some Accel wires because I burned some up on my headers. Oh well. Looks half way decent I guess, lol.

Well, not all of it, I pulled the motor to replace a busted piston skirt, and while it was out, I soaked in simple green, sprayed a little water on it, and brushed it down with a stiff bristled brush, then wiped it down several times with a rag. The TPI is powdercoated glossy black, fuel rails anodized red, and the throttle body is a 58mm Holley so it came out of the box looking like that.

So you stripped the top end to get it lookin like that..i wanan try to get the same effect w/out strippin it..dunno how well it'll go, but i plan to give it a shot.
