Time to hit the Zaino store and get that thing clean and shiny.

Of course, who am I to talk? At least it's one color.

Getting some 16" wheels would really spruce up the looks and make it handle alot better. But you gotta start somewhere and thats not a bad place to start at all

yep thats a 350 tbi that a friend from school and I swapped in there. It came directly out of a half ton pickup and then into my car, it needs some work.
belive me there is a long list of mods I want to do (first of all rebuild the motor); I don't think my wish list would fit on this thread without taking up a bit of space.
anyway keep the comments and any suggestions coming.

Amen lol.

You maybe picked up 20hp from that swap. The lo5's only had 20 more hp than a lo3. Plus you lost the roller camshaft going to a truck lo5. But you can pick up hydraulic flat tappet cams cheap and your have more potential with the 350. I do not like TBI tho. When your ready to switch to carb get in touch with me and I'll help you out

I think I'll just stick to TBI. how hard would it be to swap a roller cam into the motor? (in other words can it be done with the engine in the car?) I plan on eventually rebuilding it (no money or a place to do it) and getting vortech aluminum heads and a vortech intake to go with it, a mild cam, the holley 670 tbi, and the accel 300+. hopefully that will get me some decent power. I don't suppose someone would be able to make an estimate?

Hey 90Firebird!
When are you going to drop in a 36 mm front and 24 mm rear sway bar into your car??
Heck, are you and Alex gonna do a road trip to Arizona this summer??
Let me know of any good junkyard finds!!

Later,

George

You can buy special roller lifters, longer pushrods, new timing chain ect.. to make it accept a roller cam but I wouldn't worry about it. You can just get a nice flat tappet cam and new lifters for cheap.

TBI can be made to run well. Just gotta get good and prom tuning.
