can spark plug wires be painted?

I wanted to spray my wires down with some Hi temp paint. They are a bright yellow color that doesn't tie into anything on my car. My paint scheme is Black/red/silver. I figure the hi temp paint would help some too since the wires run close to the headers. Thanks.

you can paint the wires. I wouldnt. Itll look like crap. Why dont you buy some per wires and save money in the long run.

Well actually I just bought the wires. It was all they had left at the store and they couldn't order a new set in time. The wires work just fine, they just aren't a good color for a black and red engine bay.

Don't do it, just leave it alone. It might look decent for awhile but it ends up looking like ****. I've seen it done to r!ced out hondas.... just live with the yellow, trust me.

Exactly...For under $20 you can have enough loom to do any color you want and still have some left over... I used all chrome loom under my hood (not on the plug wires) And it was $11 through JC Whitney.
