how to stop paint from fading

i just rubbed it down with restorative polish and waxed it with Meguiar's. The paint looks better than any other I've seen but it'll fade in few weeks. The Blue Corral car wash i was using also left spots on it and the car looked worse every time i washed it. Now that i have the paintlooking like it should how can i seal it up from the elements? Acid rain always does a nice number and so does the sun. Any suggestions?

Use the polish with a buffer and then glaze it and wax it a few times. After that you can use a last detail product that will hold you off for a few monthes but paint will fade, at least the shine, regardless. The best thing to do to keep your hard polishing work there is wash it regularly and wax at least once a month. That should hold what you have done there for a long time.
