I am going to repaint my 1990 Iroc this Monday and I cant decide what color combination to do. I have narrowed it down to either...

Artic White with Red Stripes

or

Metallic Red with White Stripes

I have red interior as well and the price difference is only 175 for the metallic flake. What do you guys think I should do? All opinions are welcome. Thanks.

 

I think a white car w/ red interior looks awesome, for some strange reason? Go w/ the white car, red stripes. Red w/ red interior may be too much red. Just my opinon! Good luck. Are you doing basecoat clear? If not you should!!!!!!!

 

what colour is car right now? if the door jambs and engine bay and stuff are red, paint the car red with white stripes. If its all white paint it white with red stripes

 

My car is white right now, but faded and chipping... they will repaint the door jams, under hood, and under hatch included if i decide to go red, so its not that big a problem... thanks for the responses though... any other opinions...

Keep the white, and if you want stripes do then ontop of that. A proper color change is very involved, would your quated price also include to pull the motor to properly refinish the engine compartment?

taking a metallic color and then putting a solid color on it will look very bland. you'll need to go with a pearl or metallic for the stripe to make it work.

if you aren't sure on the color you should hold back a bit....took me years to decide what i wanted to do and another 6 years on top of that to decide how i'm about to redo it.
