Suprisingly, for as little as I take care of the paint (or even wash the car), I did clean it once real well with Meguiars body scrub and used Mother's wax before winter and it's still working fairly well.
I originally went outside to see if I was too absent minded to roll my windows up (which could have been bad
). Good thing my 'bird doesn't have to sit out there.

I think I just did something similar.. accept I was driving home from a car show when the monsoon hit... not a good time to have tire wet on the tread
I guess I did good waxing cause it was dry by the time I got home
