Keep Cats off your car!

I did not post this to start another thread of creative ways to do in kitty. I don't like em any better than you do...

I have found a way to keep them off my car and wanted to share it with everyone.

The solution I found involves using an Ultrasonic pest repellant. The device emits a high pitched squeal that cannot be heard by humans but is very unpleasant to cats. It does not harm the cat in any way but he/she will not want to hang around with the device squealing. It has a motion detector so it only goes off when motion is detected and it's powered by four "D" batteries. A set of batterys will last 9mo - 1yr.

Since employing this device I have had NO cat footprints on my car. It works GREAT!

Here's a link to the device

we used one of those to get rid of the mice in our cottage. Seemed to work pretty well but drove our dogs nuts so thats something to think about if you have dogs as pets it may drive them nuts as well.

No Problem with Dogs...

This unit has a selector switch on it. You dial in the frequency of the sound according to what you are trying to repel.

When set to cats - the highest frequency - my Labrador Retriever doesn't even seem to hear it... He walks all around it setting it off right and left and never looks at it or ***** his ears... It's out of his range of hearing.

Set to a lower frequency, I have caused the neighbor's dog to respond...
