Lower rear bumper, need help!

Hey there,

I'm looking for a rear bumper that is lower down so that when I get my new exhaust tips I can get molding done so that the bottom of the tips will line up with the bottom of the molding. Like on the new T/A. Anyone know of a place to get such a thing. The molding for exhaust is easy, that's my part. I just need the rear bumper that will line up and look right. Any idea's? someone has had to have done this, and if so, any pic's?

Any info would be appriciated,
Jason

I've been wanting to do the same thing, but can't seem to find the right bumper.I have searched through catalogs and made dozens of phone calls, but nothing. So I am starting to think about just raising the tips up and doing cut outs in the bumper. What do you think?

I wouldn't cut out of the stock bumper because if you look underneath... there is no room for the pipes to go, because the reinfoced bumper is in the way. I don't think I'm going to cut through that part. So I'm looking for an aftermarket peice to work with.

That's it exactly, but on my 91 camaro. The molding is around the tips... and hides that actual pipes under the bumper. No one knows of a ground FX kit that has a lower rear bumper. If not, I guess I will look into getting a custom job done. Thanks for the photo though, that looks good

I got the perfect thing for ya. Its a ground efect kit from KOBEL called the predator kit... I have no pics (and youll laugh) cuz i have the entire kit on my car EXCEPT behind the rear wheels. It actually hangs LOWER than the tips, when its on you cant see the tips at all, so you could cut it for them. There was even an engraved spot where i think you could cut, but i just took it off. Actually, i may have a pic, hang on.

Oh hell, i do, and its a great shot, but its not on my site. Ill e mail it to whoever posted this question, if yall want it, e mail me. sorry guys, its midnight, i got class, cant edit my webpage now!
