shaved handles no poppers

1986 T/A

When i bought my car the guy already had the door handles shaved.. The only way to get into my car is through the trunk or leave T-Top unlatched... Earlier i was about to leave but ran across a post that involved using the stock power door locks to open the doors just buy a 30 dollar wireless entry kit.ss

Here is the thing.

One day i was driving down the road... my girlfriendwas intheassanger seat... And i was messing around with my powerlocks and all of a sudden her door popped open... Obviously she freaked and hit me.. Now whenever i hit the power locks a couple a times while applying some pressure to the door it opens up.. BUT it wont do it to my door.. What do i have to do to disable the passanger doors power door lock and rig mine to pop open instead and how do i wire up the wireless entry kit up in there. Could someone repost the topic or post up some picutures of what they got going on in there doors... Also wanted to know how to adjust it so it pops open the first time i press the button...

if the car had door poppers you would know..... you either have them on the drivers side or you don't. inspect your car a little better. could be bad wiring but a door won't just unlatch without a popper and you can see them.

Do a search here in the forum about shaved door handles.
I know there has been much info on this subject earlier.

sounds like the previous owner used the stock power door lock silinoids to pop the doors open... ok idea, except that the stock 'noids suck, and the stock door switches also suck.

shaved handles and poppers are the nuts, but i dont think they really look great on every thirdgen. I hope you get the door situation all straightened out.
