i dont know what someone was thinking, maybe if it had some other pieces to pull it off , but as it sits i would feel like a dork driving that. Id rather have it in primer or all black rattle can paint.

 

I dont think it looks bad at all...Some different rims and it would look hott!

You can't have this flashy custom paint job and stock rims.....

With some rims it would look much better.....

 

Who's gonna appreciate the chipped/flaking paint on the front bumper?? Even if it was repaired, the paint scheme does nothing for me.

.....riiiiight. I too never understood why ppl will spend the $$ paint it but never spend a dime on wheels.

 

why do you think the buy it now price is 3500?

and, stock rims and tires?

cause he took the 2 or 3 thou worth of rims and tires off and slapped the stockers back on for the auction, of course!

smart guy.... rims and tires easy to swap to a diff car, engine: not so easy, paint: impossible!

btw, I think it looks like a Hot Wheels car, or a "Happy Meal toy" like was mentioned, Lol !

It looks like crap. The front bumper is in horrible shape, and the hood design idea/catastrophy is just a horrid mistake. And as you all mentioned, the stock rims is just even more of a lack of originality to an already horrible paint job.

 

Good idea, AWFUL execution.

 

Yeah, I'd be more likely to buy it if it was primer grey and had nice wheels.

 

I like those rims if they're polished

 

That car is only about an hour from me. It's a good thing I never saw it while I was driving. The hysterical fits of laughter would probably have caused me to crash.

 

The only thing to save the car is to tub it and call it PRO STREET!
That paint screams 70's to early 80's pro street. My guess is this guy is in his 40's and still wears his Members Only jacket.
