Rubber From Track Stuck On Car

I have an 84 Camaro, with the 16 inch IROC wheels, and an open rear end. I took it to the dragstrip and ran it. I noticed that burned rubber and spit up onto my right quarter panel, and it is a pain in the a$$ to get it off. Does anybody have any ideas as to how to prevent the rubber from getting stuck to the car without using splash guards? Thanks.

they got **** in those mail order racing catalogs called burnout guard. its pretty good. a buddy of mine takes and waxes the quarter panels but doesnt take it off and then when hes done he wipes the wax of and the rubber comes too. ive never tried it but he says it works.

I have seen something which is the equivalent of a clear bra that goes on the nose of your car(but not just the nose it can be applied anywhere). Similar to the black ones on cars but are very unnoticable unless you look close and see the lines where it was applied. Maybe this well will help you.

Try spraying down the area with a silcone spray before going down the strip. That would probably keep it from sticking real good on the paint. Just an idea.

i recommend getting a sprayon soap solution called "Right Stuff" it's a degreaser too.
it worked great on a friends car, and we later learned spraying Mazola cooking spray or Pam works just as good for keeping rubber from sticking
