well i had a chance to look at the stock setup on the original car the other day here in michigan and it looks like it would be quite easy to set that up. the hardest part would be modifying the upper brackets near the windshield to have them fit on the fender ledge.

i'm going to see if i can get some close up pictures of the setup parts over the weekend. if you could see the parts in question you would be able to see how easily your car could be modified to do so. i'm highly thinking about it since my ss hood vibrates so much and i don't want hood pins. reverse mount would help it alot.

I was just looking at the reverse mounted hood on my buddy's Beamer yesterday - and commented on it that it HAS to be pretty much straight forward to grab the setup of one of these and mount it on a thirdgen. His is an '88 318 btw, but I bet the hardware from pretty much any BMW would do...

Its a girls car? ohh man, im totally jealous now...
the hood idea, is what i had planned, i was jsut going to use the mounts of a stock buick, and i think thats what most do.
but now the reverso open is going to be too common for me, so im looking into a side opening hood now. just wanna stand out from the crowd...
so any websites of the posted pics so we can all go and enjoy?

At first thats what i assumed, just a chic with a guys car.
but when I "GLANCED" at the windsheild banner i thought it said " Hot Chicks" or Hot Girls" racing or somethign like that. I looked closer, and cant tell what it says anyways, but its not what I thought.
I still love the car...
