ASCD Turbo Kit
Anyone here running the ASCD Turbo (widebody) Kit? It says on the website that it only fits 82-84 cars, anything else needs modification. Who knows what it will take to fit it on a 88-92 Z or RS? BTW I know a lot of people probably think this kit is ugly, to 80's or whatever, dont worry about it, for what I have planned, it will be prefect and look pretty sweet

Ya, i have a few pictures from a thread that I posted a few months ago about camaro widebody kits. Im more wondering about fitament and such. I cant believe that nobody on this board has or has helped install one of these kits. Rex, are you out there?

A few months ago I saw someone around here with a wide body kit on a later model 3rdgen camaro and im assuming that it was ASCD's since I don't think anyone else makes one. It looked freshly primered too so he must have just put the kit on OR was just getting a new paint job. Hopefully the first.
Anyway, I've been meaning to make a post in the southeastern board and see if he maybe is on these boards. And if he is, I'm hoping he has recently installed the kit so he can clearly remember whats involved in istalling it. So check that post every once in a while. I have always been interested in this kit too. So hopefully we find some answers from someone with experience with it.

Wootah - Thanks for the pics, never seen that car before. Any info on it?
Metal383 - That showcar kit looks somewhat interesting. Do you hve any more info on it? I checked the website and they had a few shots of the car on there but they were really rough. IS it a modified ASCD kit or are they making a whole new one? The HID light setup sounds cool too.
Drewace - The kit from thunderracing is the ASCD kit, they must just be distributors for it.
Good info guys, keep it coming.

1/4 panels, bulged around 4 inches....front fender bulges, bond on, 2-3"
wider....works with any year bumpers , stock t/a extensions, sideskirts or
our lower "vision" parts can be modified/trimmed to work with
it........1095.00
STYLE-B ........FENDERS BOLT ON CAMARO DIRECTLY, NEEDS BONDING ON
FIREBIRD....INCLUDES FENDERS,FRONT SPOILER,BOND ON 1/4 PANELS." It seems to be a very good kit for the price but I have no experience with them. This is my last attachement for this thread but shows a good idea of what it does
