wheel question
wheel question(TTII classics or Boyd Ralley's?)
Hi there,
I'm looking for a set of 17" and am in doubt. Will I go for the TTII Classic (cl205 serie, with the painted heart) or Boyd Coddingtons Ralley's. I kind like of like the old fashioned appearance of those rims. Does anyone have pictures of a thirdgen with either one of these rims on???

to be honest that style isn't very popular here. do a plain internet search though and you'll find alot of thirdgens with that typical style setup.
i have plenty of TTII style pictures but they can be found here by searching easier then i could post them all. personally the price of TTII does not equal their quality as american racing isn't nearly as nice as boyd and others that are just as affordable.
i would go with a custom 2 piece wheel from boyd, budnik, billet specialties, etc or at least their cast versions before american racing if prices are the same in which the TTII is one of AR's more expensive wheel.

I didn't mean the usual TTII's but the classic's (serie cl205) that look like TTD''s
like on this fourthgen. Has anybody seen these on an thirdgen. I like the oldstyle look:

There was an RS featured in CHP a few times in the last few months with rims like those and it looked really good. Third Gens tend to look good with TT2's and similar rims. Musclecars need 5-spoke wheels, deep set especially IMO.
