cracks in ground effect paint
cracks in ground effect paint
I added 89 GTA ground effects to my formula last month. And got them painted 2 weeks ago with poly-urethane (flexible paint).
I noticed the paint is cracking on the corners of the ground effects. Mostly on the rocker side ground effects. Is this normal? Do all of you experience the same thing?
thank you

If flexable primer isn't used on those pieces, they're toast.

I agree ,sounds like no flex primer was used or a poor prep job was done.all the old paint should have come off first.I had the same thing happen to my iroc 6 months ago.I took it back and they did it right.even sanding old paint and then using primer wont work for long.the old stuff if any needs to come off.the primer has to be applied to a clean base, old sanded paint is not clean.
