17" 10 Spoke SS wheels?

Who is running the 4th gen SS wheels on there thirdgen and what did you have to do to get them to fit with thirdgen rearend disc brakes all the way around. What size tires did you use? Any pics of them on your thirdgen?

Thanks,

2" adapters will work and tire size depends on prefernce. match the factory specs to a 4thgen and you should be ok.

I used a 2 1/2" adapter and mounted 245/40/17s on them.

Next time I'll put 275s on her.
245s are just too small.

2" adaptors in the front and a 4th gen rear end in the back. 275/40/17s all the way around currently, but the stock rims had 285s on them - the rear fender liked to slice into them a little bit with the sportlines during hard corning (autocross).

My post is horribly constructed grammar wise.

I know its not what you were askin but IMO the z06 wheels look a little better on the thirdgens than the SS do..... They are very similar and comparably priced.(unless of course you got a set of used SS's cheap)

I like the Camaro SS wheels better because they don't dip in in the middle, it's a flat surface...
I almost had a set of four for 250.00, but the guy sold them to his brother. If it weren't his family member that was interested, I had first dibs on them!
