Leather Seat Restoration Q's -> -> ->
Leather Seat Restoration Q's -> -> ->
As expected with 8 year old leather seats, they are a little dry. They are also dirty
from age, they don't have grease on them or anything.
I work with a guy who used to work with leather for a living and he told me this:
"Lexol is the best thing for restoring the leather, Saddle Soap is the best thing for
cleaning leather as it won't dry it out any further"
Is this correct?? I also have heard Mink Oil is the best for restoring leather, what
about that??
Thanks

I have had good results from Lexol and Saddle soap. I would say both are good. I have mostly used it on boots and such though. A few weeks ago I got Mothers leather cleaner to clean the mold off my leather jacket and It looks good. Lexol is good but it is more expensive than some of the others. I have never heard anything bad about it so I would defanately recomend it.
