Paint finishing
Ok I recently got my car repainted and it has some serious orange peal. How can I get rid of this and get a glass like paint. the paint job was awsome and I got a great deal Its just got that orange peal look when you get real close to it.

You'll have to wet sand and buff it out.Use the search button and you'll get a lot of posts on this.Just type in orange peel.

Wet sanding is very time consuming but is absolutely the way to go.I did a patch on mine before I stripped it.Even though I thought the paint was pretty flat already,the difference was like night and day.By the way,have you noticed some of the paintwork on new factory cars these days,appalling.

i would wet sand the paint with 1500 then 2000. buff it with a good variable speed buffer and use 3m's line of compounds and machine glazes.
