Why all the rims?
i also have the stock 15x7 z28 rims. i like the look of them. the only other rim i have ever considered was the eagle 028 series in a 15x8 for all 4 corners. louvers look good on some cars. my firebird had them on it when i got it. i took them off now but i think i might put them on my z28 when it gets out of the paint shop. i dont like body color louvers though. its gotta be black or none.

I am not a stock **** by any means but I think exterior mods should match the cars existing lines. especially when it comes to wheels. when I see these cars with nasty looking bling bling rims I think that almost makes the car look cheap. like a old rusty buick on dubs. I think kandied did real well with picking an aftermakrket that just totally accents the car. personally I love my 91-92 z wheels but when I go to big baer brakes they prob won't fit anymore. gonna copy you on those brakes kandied
anyways I love it when people think my car is stock. shows that my choices have been good in making it look "like it is out of the factory" that way.

Check with Ed Miller, but i beleive that was the final verdict.

if everyone kept stock wheel on their cars....alot of these cars would look the same. Wheels are a big factor of what set alot of these cars apart on TGO. A few days ago, I saw a post that had a black 1991 Z28 on it...and it looked just about identical to mine. But since I have a set of 17 inch wheels, and alot of extra's, my car is set apart from that 91 Z28. I'm not saying the factory wheels are ugly at all....but if you want to modify your car...then a set of wheels...and possible a body mod will definently set it apart from a factory car....and people will know your car from anyone elses.
Its a personal preferance. Everyone has a certain look they like so thats how they mod their car. I like aftermarket wheels, you like window louvers, to each his own. No you're not weird, thats just what you like. And no I'm not weird, thats just what I like. In fact I will soon be selling my 18's and moving up to 19's of a different style. I would just hope that we all give eachother some ammount of respect and realize that different people have different tastes.

RIMS are Awesome if you have theright Camaro...do the right style, and more importantly the right size! I do not think wheels on 3rd generations are for all third generations. Perferable they look great on a 91/92 Z28.
Keep the stock wheels in the garage!
More inportantly I'm not a huge fan of the custom hoods, wings, and aftermarket groung effects and air dams. The car looks great how it did in 91/92. No need to re invent the wheel. My perosnal opionion.
Shocks and suspenion packages I think make the car better, drive better...I just want to keep the body and interior stock looking and clean as can be. No huge tachs on the dash, custom pimp my ride interiors. Major kick your *** stereo systems with 15'' speakers.
I want to keep my preserved as stock as possible with wheel, shock, suspension, engine hop ups...I think these cars will be hott when as they get older.
Wheels are awesome I love a 68/69 with some kick as crome wheels as featured in Camaro magazine every month!
