crazy hawaiian, that's a pretty good little movie you put together there. I'm pretty much done my movie. The only thing I am waiting on is some footage of a huge burnout that I did, and can't get access to the tapes of it for like another 2-3 weeks. I'm REALLY pissed about that, but the rest of it is all but done. I should have it posted up as soon as I get my stuff. I just have to figure out how i'm going to get it up on the internet.

I'm waiting on a tape that has a massive burnout that I did on it. The kid that has the tape had to give it to someone else first, and I'm getting pissed that I havn't gotten it yet. The rest of the movie is done, as soon as I get my burnout in it it's finished.

When you have it ready, are you going to post it in this thread? I don't want to miss it like I missed DigitalMonarch0's originally.

Thanks.

Thank you guys,

I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Overall i've gotten a lot of good feedback about the movie.

There are still some people that can't be pleased though.

Speaking for myself, and I would bet, the silent majority on this board we sincerely do appreciate your movie. We appreciate all well made thirdgen movies.

BTW, did you get my PM?

yeah I know what you're saying, and belive me, i'm more pissed than anyone right now. I've had the whole movie done since about a week after i made this post, however I did a nasty burnout in my own car, and i've been waiting all this time to get the footage of that burnout to add into the movie and finalize it. I've been talkin to the kid (while trying not to strangle him) to get the footage, and if it's not going to be soon i'll just post up what I already have. I hate that it's been this long, but I really wanted to get my own stuff in there too. We'll see what happens.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying it was not put together well, or that I didn't like it, however I guess in all the wait and excitement I was expecting too much, but that's just my HO.

I would just like to take a second to mention that I have not forgotten about your claim to make a better movie than mine in a shorter time.

9 months and counting... wow

how does your foot taste?

It has a Borla XS muffler and test pipe instead of cat. I also still has the stock exhaust manifolds.

Yeah yeah yeah.... Well i'm sure you were probably expecting I would run and hide from this and never reply and ignore it, but i'm not one to do that. And i'm not going to eat my foot/words either, because I DID make another move (within the week that I originated that post), however I was waiting on footage of a massive burnout I did in my own car, which was one of the main purposes of wanting to redo a movie (so that I could add my own car). The guy that shot the video told me it would be two weeks until I could get my hands on it to make a copy, and as you stated, it's been NINE FREAKING MONTHS. Just imaging roasting half the tread off of your tires, doind the best burnout you've ever done, having your insurance go up $250 a month (don't ask) and never getting the tape of it for yourself. I'm still as pissed today as I was 9 months ago about not getting the tape. So I saw no reason to finalize the movie given it was not completed as I wanted it to be, however I had all the footage that you had compiled in a new format and awaiting my tape, thus why it never got finished.

Now I know i've said that the comments I made about your movie were nothing personal, and that I thought it was a good movie. However I know that inspite that, you likely did take it personally and that you are itching to put me to shame. So if that is a correct asumption, I would propose a video contest. Create a thread for people to resubmit videos that they have, and the videos submitted would be the only ones able to be used in the video, so the selection would be the same. Then have 2 weeks to edit everything, send them into someone to host them, put them up on the boards, and with no corrolation as to which movies is who's, put a poll up for the movies for a week, and at the end whoever has move votes in the poll can claim victory. I'm really opting to do this because I think it would be a lot of fun, and I'd like to show what I can do with some videos. Let me know what you think, PM me if you like, and we'll see what we can do if you're up for it. Peace.

PS, so no one thinks the whole "burnout video" that I did is bogus, here's a shot that I had on camera from the same burnout.

First the formalities,

My bringing this thread back from the dead was really mostly out of curiousity, and not spite. My intent is not to put you to shame, nor is it to try to make you feel bad, in fact I am more interested in what the heck happened in between.

Please don't take my earlier comments personally, sometimes it's tough to be sarcastic in type without coming off like an ***. My appologies to you.

Your proposal sounds like a fun challenge. My last video was thrown quickly together in crappy windows movie maker so I am eager to test the waters with a different app.

Sounds like fun

I understand what you mean about the sarcasm in the context of type, and I appreciate the reply. I also feel the same way in regards to the situation.

As far as the challenge, I will shoot a PM to the mods of the board to see what we can to to make sure everyone sees it and can add their own footage (ie sticky), and can set the ground rules in it. I'm in training with BMW right now, and have limited internet access during the week, but I will do what I can to maintain communication. Send me a pm if you want to address any logistics for limitations for this thing, I think it could be really fun, and i'm looking forward to the challenge. Let me know.

As far as video's not working on netburnr.com

I have recently changed webhosts, and I do not have the videos anymore. If anyone wants to give them to me again, I can rehost them.

Again, if anyone needs hosting, let me know.
