???s about the Raised Chevrolet valvecovers

Hey,

I know some of you have those valve covers with the large raised "Chevrolet" on them.
Im assuming these come only in the perimiter bolt style, or? Aren't there some adaptors available to put perimiter style covers on centerbolt heads??

Also, anyone know who has them for a decent price?

Thanks a lot!!

They're perimeter only. The bolts would wind up being right through the lettering on centerbolt.

I think I bought mine through Scoggin-Dickey or Pace.

Yeah, that's what I figured (on the center bolt issue).

Who makes these covers? GM?

Ken

GM makes them.

they go for just under $200 depending on where you get them.

while summit and jegs now sell GM products, both sell for more then you would pay at www.gmpartsdirect.com or somtimes more then your local dealer!(esp once you add their shipping.)

GM also makes adapters to allow you to bolt on perim covers on centerbolt heads. if i recall correctly, they also go for near $200.
noone makes cheap adapters.

isn;t the a three piece unit that bolt the center bolts inside the cover and then cool looking covers go over that and bolt around that perimiter of the cover?
